Tina looked at Lee as well. She stared straight at Lee as if she knew him. This made Lee even more excited. He

rushed over and shouted excitedly, “Heather!” “Dad!” Trevor immediately rushed over and pulled Lee back,

reminding him not to scare her. Only then did Lee suppress the emotions inside of him. He tried his best to remain

calm and greeted her with a gentle smile, “Hello, my name is Lee Xander!” Suddenly, he was reminded of the time

when they first met, back in that restaurant when they were both overseas. The first time he’d seen her, he was

instantly attracted by the clear and happy look in her eyes. After that, he would always have a meal at that

restaurant. Gradually, they became familiar with each other. When he first introduced himself, he said to her

gently, “Hello, my name is Lee Xander!” “Hello, my name is Tina.” Tina smiled gently at Lee. She thought he looked

familiar as if she had seen him somewhere before. However, she could not remember where or when. “Mr. Xander,

Julian, Annalise, take a seat.” Lianne immediately greeted them warmly and personally poured tea for them. She

was sincerely grateful to Annalise’s family. After all, Anna was the one who saved her brother and grandmother.

Lee sat down opposite Tina and took the tea from Lianne. However, he could not stop looking at Tina. “Dad.” Trevor

pulled him again. Lee quickly retracted his burning gaze that was uncontrollable. “Mrs. Stinson, can I take your

pulse?” Annalise looked at Tina and asked. The woman standing in front of her was her mother! The mother that

she had always thought had passed away. Fortunately, Lianne’s grandmother found her and saved her. Otherwise,

who knew what kind of life her mother would have led? Would she have been able to live until today? She did not

dare think about it. The thought of it caused tears to well up in her eyes. Katherine could not help but look at her

granddaughter, Lianne when she saw the family members’ red eyes and strange behavior. Lianne nodded slightly

at her grandmother. Katherine instantly understood that it was possible that they were related to Tina. Tina lost her

memories seventeen years ago but she was able to function normally. She noticed Lee and the others were acting

strangely and were staring at her passionately. Earlier today, Trevor even hugged her and called her ‘mom’. She

extended her hand and said to Annalise, “Alright. Sorry for troubling you.” If amnesia was truly curable, Annalise

would like to discover what kind of life Tina had led. She was also curious why she was unconscious in the river.

Once a person had doubts, it would be difficult for them to calm down Annalise immediately took her pulse. Lee and

Trevor were both nervous. Annalise focused on taking her pulse. She found that Tina’s situation was different from

Preston’s. Preston’s pulse was completely normal. What he had was mainly a psychological problem. As for Tina,

her pulse was completely messed She had suffered a heavy blow to her head, causing irreversible damage to the

nerves in her brain. Other than that, she had blood clots, congestion, and other health issues. Annalise could not

help but feel sad when she noticed this. “How is it?” Katherine asked. “Her body is rather weak. It will take a longer

time for her to recuperate.” Annalise resisted the urge to cry and tried her best to appear calm. “Is her body still

weak?” Katherine was surprised. After she had rescued Tina from the water, she sent her to the hospital

immediately. Tina had been treated in the hospital for a period of time, mainly for external injuries. The doctor had

said that there was damage to Tina’s cerebral nerve, but it could not be treated. Whether or not she would be able

to recover from her amnesia was up to fate. The doctor suggested that she be discharged from the hospital and

asked her to seek traditional medicine. The doctor mentioned that it was impossible to treat her with modern

medicine. Since Tina was weak, it was recommended that she took time to recuperate. After she was discharged

from the hospital, Katherine sought traditional medicine to nurse Tina back to health. She was given some medicine

for a year. Tina’s body had indeed changed after a year. She lost weight and went from 160 pounds to 120 pounds.

Her mental state looked much better as well. Katherine thought that Tina had recovered. Unexpectedly, she was

still weak. “Yes, she is still weak,” Annalise said. Lianne immediately said, “Grandma, although Annalise is young,

she studied under Master Quigley. She has great medical skills. She was the one who cared Preston.” When

Katherine heard this, she immediately said excitedly, “Could you treat Tina?” Katherine rescued Tina seventeen

years ago and they were not related by blood. However, after spending so many years together, Katherine had

long treated Tina as her own biological daughter. Annalise nodded. “Don’t worry. I’ll definitely take good care of her.

However, I might have to perform acupuncture on her every day. Now that I’m pregnant, I wonder if I can invite her

to stay with me instead?” She did not choose to acknowledge Tina as her mother immediately to avoid scaring her.

“Sure. It’s okay as long as she won’t disturb you.” Katherine wanted to know if they were a family as well. If that

was the case, she hoped that they could reunite as a family. Every mother would want their daughters to be happy.

For seventeen years, Katherine had arranged several blind dates for Tina. A few of them were introduced by her

good friends from church. There were men with great backgrounds that were satisfied with Tina. However, every

time Tina went on a blind date, she would act indifferently. The traditional doctor mentioned that she had a weak

body, which made her look like she was not motivated by anything. Katherine had always felt that Tina had suffered

for following her at such a young age. It would be a good thing if she could have a family! “Don’t worry. I’ll definitely

nurse your body back to health,” Annalise said to Tina. She thought to herself, “Mom, all these years, you’ve

suffered a lot. I’ll definitely take good care of your body and let you live a long and enjoyable life.” Tina nodded

slightly. “Thank you.” Lee thought for a moment and stood up. “Lianne, Katherine, we’ll leave first.” Annalise

immediately said, “Grandma, I’ll take her back first. Don’t worry, I’ll take good care of her.” “Okay, okay.” Katherine

stood up to send them off. Lee said to Trevor, “Kalyan, stay behind. If there’s anything that Lianne needs help with,

help her out.” He had always been indifferent and cold, unwilling to interfere in other people’s matters. If it was in

the past, he would never call her Lianne affectionately. Instead, he would have called her Ms Blake. It was different

now. His gratitude towards Katherine was indescribable. Katherine was like Heather’s second mother. If that was

the case, she was like his mother-in-law. “Okay,” Trevor replied. Lianne felt a little uncomfortable and said, “Mr.

Xander, there’s no need for that. You guys go about your business. I don’t need any help here.” Trevor took the

initiative and said, “I can help Preston as well.” “Alright, alright. Thank you.” Katherine tugged at Lianne, signaling

for Trevor to stay. She did not know Trevor’s exact situation, but she could sense that they would help Preston out

next. She was already an old woman now. After all, Lianne was a girl. With Trevor accompanying her, she felt more

at ease.
