After sending the message, Joanna waited anxiously for Aria’s reply.

30 minutes passed, but there was only silence from the phone. Aria did not reply to her message, which made

It was 9 o’clock in the morning at the airport.

“I hope everything goes smoothly this time.”

“Mommy! Will Daddy come to Gaprington? I’m a little scared without Daddy around…”

see us off?”

see you off.”

Lilia smiled sweetly. “Mr. Grimm.”

“Good girl.” Jaydon bent down and affectionately pinched Lilia’s cheek.

“Is Devin also going to Gaprington with you?”

Joanna nodded. “Yes, he’s still young, and I don’t feel at ease leaving him at home.”

Jaydon did not say anything more and handed over a luggage bag. “I rushed here, so I did not have time to prepare

properly. This is a gift for you.”

“You don’t have to be so polite. You always bring gifts when you come over.”

Jaydon smiled. “It’s a gesture of goodwill. I wish you a safe journey. There are some food and daily

necessities inside.”

Joanna accepted it and smiled back. “Thank you.”

As they looked at each other, Jaydon noticed Joanna’s face. “Joann, what’s wrong with your eyes?”

“Nothing. I did not sleep well last night.” Joanna replied as she instinctively took out her sunglasses and put them

on.

She had not slept the entire night, lying in bed, she could not stop her tears from flowing. Now, she had clear dark

circles and her complexion was pale.

Jaydon gave a closer look and felt a pang in his heart. “Joann…”.

“What’s the matter?”

“Nothing.” Jaydon wanted to say something but hesitated, then smiled tenderly at her.

In the past few days, he had conducted extensive investigations. He had gone through all the previous

suspicions had grown significantly.
