Chapter 966 Suppress Everyone

On a distant reef island, a group of cultivators were surrounding a frail-looking girl.

“Little girl, do as we say and hand over the Star Debris Meteorite in your hand!” The cultivator in charge had the demeanor of a sage-like being, but at that moment, his expression was menacing, unable to conceal his murderous intent.

The other cultivators wore cold smiles on their faces as they stared covetously at the girl’s tightly clenched right hand. There, silvery light seeped out from between her fingers.

Trembling, she hissed through gritted teeth, “This is mine! I traded my life for it, so why would I give it to you!?”

She looked extremely thin and weak, especially in her old and coarse dress. Her face was quite pretty and delicate, but it had become a sickly pale shade.

Judging from her appearance, she had to be around fourteen and fifteen years old, and judging from her clothes, she must be from a poor family.

“Don’t be so stubborn! This area belongs to the territory of our Blood Sword Sect. You secretly dug up that Star Debris Meteorite in our land! We haven’t settled the score with you yet!” The old man in charge thundered, “Since you are still so young, I won’t make things difficult for you. Hand over the meteorite in your hand and I will release you now. Otherwise, don’t blame us for being rude!”

“Nonsense!” The girl trembled with anger as she yelled out, “I found this meteorite from another place, but your people surrounded me just as I passed by here! How…how could you be so unreasonable?!”

PA!

A cultivator stepped forward and slapped the girl in the face.

Her frail body flew across the air and landed on the ground with a screaming cry. She clutched her red and swollen cheeks, coughing up blood.

“It’s just a little girl who appeared out of nowhere. Why waste time talking to her? Just directly get rid of her.” The cultivator was a muscular and tall man with a fierce and disdainful face.

On the ground, the girl’s face clouded over with sorrow, her eyes were red and blood was trickling down her lips. She looked extremely pitiful and distressed, especially with her hair caked with mud.

She knew that fighting back was futile, but she would never compromise or give up. She tightened her grip around the meteorite until her knuckles were turning white as if she was holding onto her own fate.

“Stop, stop it.” A cultivator stepped forward, his gleaming eyes fixed on the young girl. “I happen to lack a maid to serve me personally. This girl’s looks are quite decent, You can’t destroy her.”

Dressed in all white, he looked handsome and elegant, but when he spoke, he failed to conceal the perverted look on his face

The other cultivators roared with laughter. They all knew that the white-clothed man had strong lustfulness and had harmed many innocent young girls over the years.

Now, he had his eyes on the young girl before them.

“You...” said the thin girl indignantly, feeling humiliated and despair. She felt the road ahead was completely dark. She believed that with the meteorite in her hand, she could change her fate, but she never expected that what was waiting for her was a calamity!

Not only the meteorite might be snatched away, but even her body might also be tainted!

The thought of taking her own life passed through her mind.

“Stop talking nonsense, first grab the meteorite,” the old man commanded impatiently.

Immediately, the burly man rushed forward and grabbed the girl on the ground, brutally and forcefully.

The girl lost all hope, her face became overcast with sadness, and her heart felt like dead ashes. There was only one thought left in her mind: The Heavens...are not fair!

“Get lost!” But almost at the same time, a tall and handsome figure stood in front of the girl, murmuring a dao chant.

The burly man only felt a buzz in his ears before his spirit throbbed with agonizing pain. His vision blurred and he staggered to the ground, clutching his head and screaming.

The cultivators from the Blood Sword Sect narrowed their eyes, but when they saw that the figure standing in front of the girl was only a young man at the intermediate Cyclic Derivation Stage, their brows scrunched together and their faces turned dark and unpleasant.

“Young master, why do you want to meddle in the affairs of our Blood Sword Sect?” the old man asked in a deep voice.

That young man was precisely Lin Xun. He ignored the several men and cast a glance at Miss Le who was approaching from not too far away.

The reason he lent a helping hand was, firstly, out of righteousness, but also because Miss Le showed unusual agitation and anger. She had lost her usual composure and calmness.

Lin Xun knew that this matter was not that simple.

Sure enough, when Miss Le arrived and saw the distressed girl lying on the muddy beach, her hands quivered and her beautiful face reddened with uncontrollable fury.

This was extremely unusual because Lin Xun had never seen such emotions from Miss Le.

At the same time, the frail girl looked a little perplexed. She had already given up all hope and planned to kill herself, but she was actually...saved!

“How dare you! That girl is our prey. Whoever dares to touch her is an enemy of our Blood Sword Sect!” the leader thundered.

He ordered the others to act.

This was because he was worried that the Star Debris Meteorite in the girl’s hand would be taken away.

Boom!

There were over a dozen experts from the Blood Sword Sect. The spectacle of them all attacking together immediately drew the attention of cultivators in the other areas.

The girl cried out anxiously, “Hurry up and run!”

This surprised both Lin Xun and Miss Le. They exchanged glances with each other and made up their minds.

“Die!”

The handsome white-robed man took the lead. He unfolded a gold jade fan, and with a swoosh, blood-colored light shrouded the surface of the fan and rays of fierce blood-colored light shot out from the ribs of the fan.

However, the blow was not aimed at Miss Le or Lin Xun, but at the girl on the ground!

“If I can’t have her, you also can’t either!” he roared, his expression callous.

However, to his shock, before his attack got close, it was silently swallowed up, disappearing completely.

The young man opposite of him never made a single movement from the beginning to the end, except glowering at him with his cold black eyes.

This is bad!

He realized something was wrong. Trembling inwardly, he wanted to bolt away.

But as soon as he turned around, an invisible and terrifying force bore down on him like a mountain falling from the sky.

Thud!

His entire body was crushed to the ground. His muscles and bones crumbled into thousands of parts, and his seven orifices oozed with blood. Before he could scream, he lost consciousness.

Everything seemed to have happened slowly, but in fact, it all happened in the blink of an eye.

It was unbelievably fast. From afar, it looked as if the white-robed man had admitted defeat and dropped to the ground without a sound.

When the white-clothed man was suppressed, the other Blood Sword Sect experts were already in action. But their faces dramatically changed at the terrifyingly bizarre scene.

They were already one step too late.

A frightening force erupted from Lin Xun like a giant abyss devouring heaven. Even the air whimpered and surrendered under his power.

Then, with a series of thuds, all experts of the Blood Sword Sect, including the old man in charge, collapsed to the ground, spurting blood from their mouths and nostrils and screaming endlessly.

Their shrill and tragic cries echoed throughout the world, startling even the cultivators in the far distance.

Their gazes changed when they looked at Lin Xun, brimming with fear.

“Those guys deserve it. They deserve to die in Young Master Lin’s hand!” Kou Xing and the others felt very satisfied.

Meanwhile, the girl was still in a stunned state, staring at the scene in disbelief. It felt as unreal as it was a dream.

Miss Le sighed in her heart, her face overcast with sadness. Many past events and memories came flooding back.

Back then, she was also a lonely and weak girl struggling to live. To survive, she often had to compete with beggars on the streets for food.

She worked extremely hard to change her fate. Just like the young girl, she believed that she would no longer have to suffer any hardships if she risked her life to find a treasure.

But in the end, she was bitterly disappointed and lost all hope.

This was because she had encountered almost exactly the same situation as the girl in front of her.

Fortunately, her master happened to pass by and rescued her. She was brought to the sect to train, and her life changed from then on!

Fortunately, the young girl was also rescued, and she no longer had to face despair and death...

Miss Le couldn’t help looking at the girl with a look of relief and pity.

The old man bitterly begged for mercy on the ground, “Young master, our Blood Sword Sect has no enmity with you...”

Lin Xun turned to look at Miss Le.

Miss Le looked at the girl.

The girl pursed her lips, her eyes brimming with hatred, but in the end, she shook her head and said, ”Big Brother, Big Sister, I don’t want to kill them now.”

“Why?” asked Miss Le.

“I...I want to get revenge by myself in the future.” The girl bowed her head, but her voice was resolute.

“What if you still can’t change your situation from today?” Miss Le asked.

The girl was taken aback and then she pursed her lips and said, “I haven’t thought about that but I have always had nothing, so I’m not afraid to gamble my life.”

She spoke calmly, but there was a touching determination.

Miss Le’s gaze softened and a pleased smile spread across her lips.

Vaguely, she thought of herself many years ago. When she was faced with her master’s questioning, she also said unwaveringly, “I am alone. I have no other path I can take to survive. If I can’t change then I might as well die.”

Those were the words that made her master take her in.

“Big sister, I want to give this meteorite to you.” The girl took a deep breath, as if she had made a decision, and opened up her tightly clenched right hand in front of Miss Le.

A gush of magnificent silvery light rushed out from the girl’s palm, as beautiful as a dream, but along with it was a frightening and obscure fluctuation of energy.

Upon a closer look, it was a lustrous black Star Debris Meteorite around the size of an egg.
