"…Out there in the real cultivation world, there are monsters that you cannot fathom. Your sub-region is special in that it's blocked off from everyone outside, and because of this, you've stayed stagnant. Your cultivation methods, your Techniques, your Martial Arts, all of them are so outdated that those on the Central Continent would consider them barbaric. We are thousands of years more advanced than you are. So stay put in this sub-region where you'll have a chance to be a big fish in a small pond. Why court death by wandering into a shark-infested Ocean? Wouldn't you rather be the head of a snake than the tail of a dragon?"

As Long Feng spoke, he looked around the pavilion and he saw a few looks in some people's eyes that made him smile internally.

'That's right, you don't need to leave this place, none of you! Not a single one! This place is simply too strange, their methods are outdated but yet still they have produced several talents with monster-level potential. If they were taught the methods we find common on our Central Continent, how terrifying would they become? Just look at this bastard.'

Long Feng glance at Lu Shin.

'I sense that he started cultivating his Martial Spirit several years ago, but now I sensed that his Martial Spirit has already gone through its first transformation. His rate of progress is just too absurd. And he'll only grow much stronger the more time past, how can I let people like you cross the Heavenly Bridge?'

Snort.

Lu Shin was heard snorting before he said.

"I'll do what I want and go where I want, why should I be afraid of the Central Continent? If it's as dangerous as you say then isn't that better? The more danger and difficulty I face the stronger my sword becomes, anyone who doesn't have this resolve doesn't deserve to cultivate!"

As Lu Shin yelled those few last words, the disciples in the pavilion who became scared due to Long Feng's words felt ashamed of themselves.

Long Feng in response to seeing this realized he might have created the perfect scenario for these people's resolve to grow stronger. He had done the complete opposite of what he set out to do.

'A bunched of bastards!'

Long Feng scream internally, but on the outside, he said calmly.

"Don't say I didn't warn you."

Snort.

Lu Shin snort once again, but suddenly shouted.

"Do it now!"

Yang Su suddenly moved forward and took a step.

Gu Jin, Mai Rong, and Long Feng immediately went on high alert but they didn't expect what happened next.

As Yang Su stepped forward the Spiritual Qi beneath his feet trembled. This tremble then extended like a web towards all the Spiritual Qi inside the pavilion.

Everyone suddenly felt that it was slightly hard to move, they were sluggish.

Feeling this restriction, the disciples were shocked that the Spiritual Qi in the surroundings was being controlled like this, even the Internal Qi they had refined and made their own wouldn't listen to them and circulate. Their cultivation bases were completely suppressed and they could hardly move.

However, the ones who were more shocked were Gu Jin, Mai Rong, and Long Feng. They were feeling the full brunt of this Qi Suppression Daoist spell. No, can this even be called a Dao Magic Spell? It's not a Divine Ability either. It seemed more like a Martial Arts Technique but at the same time some kind of an Innate Ability.

Innate Abilities were usually common to the various types of Spirit Beast, but it wasn't an uncommon case of a human being born with one in the cultivation world.

Mei Ji was one of these people.

Long Feng had also seen a few people on the Central Continent that had an Innate Ability, one even with two.

He and the others thought Yang Su had some kind of Innate Ability that allowed him to manipulate the Spiritual Qi like this but combined it with Martial Arts.

But contrary to their belief, this wasn't some Innate Ability Yang Su had suddenly gained.

Unlike how that Ancient being that took over his body used the Eight Steps of Heavenly Suppression, where he could create his own force to destroy even the Heavenly Laws. Yang Su was too weak to fully use this ability to that extent so he instead relied on his own ability to manipulate the six natural elements.

By doing this he was able to take hold of the surrounding Spiritual Qi and used it as his own power. Rather than destroying anything he was controlling it. Going further than this and he was able to create this ability that restricts cultivators using Spiritual Qi in the surroundings.

As for what the original ability was categorized as Yang Su wasn't fully sure. It was a Martial Arts Technique that seemed as natural as an Innate Ability or the Heavenly Laws themselves.

Yang Su speculated it might be a Technique that was perfect without any flaws. And when performed it reflected that aspect.

Having created his own ability from that perfect Technique, his ability might have retained some of the perfect Techniques aspects so it looked like he was using some amalgamation of an Innate Ability and a Martial Arts Technique.

Long Feng, Mai Rong, and Gu Jin having been caught off guard by this attack struggle against the Qi Suppression.

However, Yang Su suddenly took another step and the restriction tighten even more.

At this point in time all three of them were wearing looks of shock.

Even Long Feng had never seen a technique that allowed one person to suppress three late-stage Core Formation Realm cultivators.

But this was the least of their concerns. As the three struggled against the restriction, Lu Shin and Dai Hee suddenly made a move and attacked Mai Rong and Long Feng.

A terrifying blue arc filled with immense Sword Qi flew from Lu Shin's sword.

Dai Hee threw out his fist that had a starry black light around it and a loud bang echoed out. The space in front of his fist twisted and distorted before a blast of air pressure shot out.

As these attacks were made, Yang Su followed suit by taking his third step. After his battle with Anang, he had learn a lot and improved his understanding of this ability allowing him to take the third step.

As a result of his third step, the spiderweb-like scene disappeared and the restriction was lifted, but Yang Su's two steps from before accumulated Spiritual Qi force that when added to his third step was absolutely terrifying.

All of this force was directed towards Gu Jin.

By the time the restriction was lifted, these three attacks were already in front of Long Feng, Mai Rong, and Gu Jin.

BANG

BANG

Three loud bangs echoed out as Long Feng, Mai Rong, and Gu Jin tried to block these attacks but were sent flying.

The disciples below all dash out of the way as their figures crashed into the ground, sending wooden splinters everywhere.

The first to rise from the crater on the ground was Gu Jin.

He watched completely enrage as Dai Hee and everyone flew towards the exit.

"Bastards!"

Gu Jin yelled before he suddenly turned to Mai Rong who was raising up and suggested.

"Let's call a truce until we capture those fuckers, afterwards we can battle it out for those pills. How does that sound?"

Mai Rong hearing this turned her head towards Gu Jin and even though Gu Jin couldn't see her face, he could tell she was sneering at him.

"What's with that look? Are you against joining forces? If we don't those bastards might get awa…"

As Gu Jin was speaking, his words suddenly trailed off. This was because he saw that Mai Rong's body was starting to turn into blue specks.

"Wha-What?"

Gu Jin was taken aback, but Mai Rong simply chuckled before saying.

"Gu Jin, do you think I'm like you?"

Immediately after she said that Mai Rong's body burst into blue specs of light. Inside these blue specs was the projection of a deep blue fan.

Gu Jin upon seeing this fan froze. He then stiffly turned his head towards the booth Mai Rong was in to see the disciples of the Water Bound Continent were long gone.

Gu Jin gritted his teeth before he let out a loud roar and flew up from the crater, sending wooden splinters everywhere.
