In a special seat overlooking the execution, Nephira sat with an anguished expression on her face. She was rocking one leg up and down, restlessly.

The thought of Suzuki being killed made her feel like crying. However, demons, and even more, the commander of the Thunder-Lance Charge, would not be allowed to weep. That's why Nephira endured desperately.

"NOOOOOO!!! HELP MEEEEEE!!"

Suddenly, the execution site was haunted by the voice of a thin, gaunt man. The Skeleton Soldier held him by the arm. It was the same man who had once informed them that Excella was scheming against the demons.

He got dragged, screaming, to the center of the execution stage. The Thunder-Lance Charge's fiends, seated in the bowl-shaped spectator seats, began to roar with excitement.
