There wasn't much information about what his new class was going to be like, so Ning was a little concerned.

"Still, going from a Unique to a Legendary class surely couldn't hurt, right?" he thought to himself.

So, without hesitation, Ning clicked on the notification and tapped on upgrade.

[Your class will change to 'Master of Fate'. Are you sure?]

"Yes," Ning said and tapped it again.

Suddenly, orange light shined from all around him as notifications from the game drowned him. The blue panels were so many that it looked as if that was all he could see.

Ning pulled himself back from the moment and looked at everything with a distant eye. He ignored useless notifications and focused on the important ones for now.

Firstly, his class had indeed changed, which had also given him a Legendary Title.

[The First Legendary

The title does not need to be equipped to apply.]

"Hmm, so I won't get stunned or silenced as much, huh?" Ning thought. That was nice..

Then, he looked at the list of skills he had acquired.

[Master Deck of Infinite Fates - Main Class Skill

Type: Active

Level 2

Choose a card from amongst 5 different grades to use. Each grade has a unique mana cost and cooldown. Unique and Legendary cards have separate individual cooldowns as well.

The card will activate on its own 1 minute after being picked.

Card Grade: Manacost Cooldown

Common: 100 1 Minute

Uncommon: 150 1 Minute 30 seconds

Rare: 200 2 Minutes

Unique: 250 2 Minutes 30 seconds

Legendary: 300 3 Minutes

At Level 2, you have 2 charges of the skill, and can be used in succession without worrying about cooldown.

"What the hell? I no longer rely on luck at all," Ning said as he read the description of his main skill. He had finally stopped suffering and used his system to gain an advantage and yet the game no longer needed luck for it to work.

'Even with SSS grade, my luck is still bad,' Ning frowned. Still, he couldn't deny how good the new skill was. Sure it was a little pricier than before, but just having the choice of cards made it so much easier.

What cards do I have though?" Ning wondered. He opened the skill description, but it said nothing. So, he decided to try it either way.

Suddenly, a massive panel appeared in front of him with various different cards floating in the air, one that seemed to drown his entire view.

"Uh…" Ning was overwhelmed without even looking at a single card. They weren't exaggerating when they said Infinite. There were more than 3000 cards here easily, of which there were 50 Legendary and 150 Unique cards.

Ning thought for a moment and asked the system to give him all the knowledge about every single card on the list. Once he acquired it, it became significantly easier to choose what he wanted.

'This is like having 3000 different skills that share the same cooldown, isn't it?' Ning thought.

Then, he moved on to the other skills.

His [Fate's Aid] had changed to [Aiding Fate], where his skill had a 3-second cooldown. Whenever Ning hit something while he was out of cooldown, he would hit a regular attack instead of a critical one. When he was on cooldown, he would always hit critical.

The skill was no longer chance based as that was simply unnecessary for someone with the highest grade of luck.

His next skill, [Fate's Joker] had been removed, and instead, he gained another skill named [Choosing Fate]. Ning could now choose a Buff and Debuff that would apply to everyone in an area.

He and his party members would be buffed, while everyone else was debuffed. Ning learned that it had a 24 hours cooldown and thus could only be changed once a day.

He opened the skill and saw many different types of buff listen. It wasn't as overwhelming since there were only so few types of buff or debuff in the game.

The skill also conveniently separated the buffs into individual categories, which he could use to quickly set up which one Ning wanted to use.

Ning looked for an Attack speed buff and chose it. As for debuff, since the Ore golems had such a strong DEF stat, he found one that removed it.

The buff or debuff would only apply once he activated a card, and the effectiveness of it depended on the grade of the card he activated.

"Do they stack?… no," Ning thought. "So the buff from the highest grade card works huh?"

Finally, his final skill [Fate's Puppet] had changed to [Fate's Master], and it was no longer a skill that gave him stacks.

[Fate's Master

Level 1

Type: Passive

You are the master of fate and as such can even manipulate the fate of others. You can toggle it to either improve the luck or those around you or make it worse. Party members will have improved luck regardless of the state.

Luck change: +300

Has diminishing effect with other sources of luck.]

"300… that should be an entire level right?" Ning thought. As far as he knew, every 100 units of Luck was a single improvement in the LUK stat. This meant that just being around Ning would either improve others' luck or make it worse.

Now the others would have to deal with what he had dealt with for the last 120 days.

Ning looked at the 2 extra skill levels he had and could choose it to apply to anything. After a bit of thought, he put one level on [Aiding Fate] and another one on [Choosing Fate].

[Fate's Master] was quite useless to him at the moment, so he decided not to worry about it right now.

Once it was all set, Ning looked at the gigantic stone door in front of him that housed the boss inside and pushed on it.

The door opened, and Ning walked inside.
