Chapter 995 It had been three days since the CEO of Winters Corporation came to Cloud City.

He never left the hotel over the past two days, and the reporters at the entrance had finally lost their

patience, so the crowd was almost gone.

When Adeena and Ruth walked into the hotel, Jake hurried up to them. “Ms. Willis, I thought wouldn‘t

come.”

“Of course I‘d come,” Adeena said indifferently. “Mr. Wilson, you can contact the police and get them to

release my uncle now.”

Jake grinned and said, “Sure, Ms. Willis. I‘ll get it done now.”

As long as Ms. Willis came, everything was fine.

Willis is here.”

can wait there for a while.”

Ruth raised her chin. “I‘m here to see Mr. Winters. You can take my sister to the resting lounge.”

Jake was speechless.

Jake bowed and pushed the door open. Then he gestured respectfully to invite them inside. Ruth

bumped Adeena in the shoulder and stepped inside first.

Adeena pursed her lips indifferently.

If Ruth was there, Duke should not be able to drug her again.

She had to say that she was grateful for Ruth.

The two of them walked in one after another and saw Duke‘s back facing them. He was standing in

front of the French window.

He was not wearing his coat. He just had on a white shirt, and the white color reduced much of his

“M–Mr. Winters.”

She could not help but call out to him.

Duke cast an unfriendly glance at her. “Who are you?”

Ruth was speechless, and she immediately introduced herself. “Mr. Winters, we met yesterday. I‘m the

Willis family‘s daughter. My name is Ruth Willis.”

“Who allowed you to come in?”

Duke appeared unhappy.

Today was his first date with Addy after four years. He did not want anyone to disturb them.

Ruth was terrified by his aggressive demeanor, so much so that her face turned pale. Ultimately, she

was just a girl in her early twenties. How could she bear this?

“Mr. Winters, please be more polite to my sister,” Adeena perfunctorily said with a deep frown. Ruth
