Chapter 515

When Duke looked at the empty ward in the hospital, he felt quite gloomy. He was severely injured, and

the woman who had just become his fiancee disappeared for the whole afternoon.

He held his phone with hesitance for a while, struggling repeatedly before finally making a call.

His call was answered after two beeps.

“Was that a call from Duke?” Mdm. Xavier narrowed her eyes in amusement and smiled. “Addy, you

should have brought Duke over for dinner today. The Xavier family hasn’t officially met him yet.”

Adina stroked her nose. “He’s still in the hospital.”

“Yes, Dad’s injured. He has to stay in the hospital for at

least a week!” Harold spoke clearly.

“Addy, this isn’t right. Duke’s in the hospital. How can you come to the Xavier family’s mansion?” Mdm.

Xavier instantly became worked up. “Let the kids stay in my place. Hurry to the hospital and keep Duke

the hospital. Maybe Papa Brown’s there too. There are so many people. Dad’s the least pitiful one!”

Mdm. Xavier held Harold’s hand and said, “Can bodyguards and caretakers compare to a fiancee? At a

time like this, your mommy has to go over and accompany him so that your dad will recover faster.”
