A powerful ripple swept through the streets, sending chinks of debris flying in all directions while the ground below and around the feet of the two behemoths cracked, threatening to turn into dust!

'What!?'

Dumbfounded by the sudden change of events, Raven pushed his head out from behind the corner to get a better look, only to pull it back with all his speed, barely avoiding a large piece of stone crashing into his head!

'That... That was a close one...' swallowing nervously as he watched how the piece of debris struck a metal pole in the distance, making it bend almost 90 degrees!

After calming down and thanking his gods that he was still alive, Raven decided to take a peek at the two monsters from behind his cover, this time with more caution than before.

And just as he did, he was able to witness another clash between the two abominations.

BAM!

Another tremor shook the streets as the massive hammer of the second fat avatar fell on the mace, this time also creating long cracks on both the armor and weapon of the first monster.

"Ghrooar!!"

With a thunderous roar as its armor and weapon were ready to submit to the tremendous force falling on it, the fat bastard with its mace shifted its body with a rather fast movement and spun around, its weapon targeting its enemy's face from the side.

Taken by surprise because not expecting such a thing, the creature with the hammer tried to raise its weapon back up and deflect the incoming attack, but unfortunately, it was already too late.

With a loud bang, as if smashing a watermelon into bits, the monster's head exploded in a split second, brain matter and blood flying everywhere before painting the ground red!

Bam!

With a heavy sound, the now headless creature fell onto the ground lifelessly, sending a tiny tremor through the earth that shook the walls of the buildings on the side softly.

'It's over...' letting out a sigh of relief as he felt at ease for not needing to fight those two abominations, Raven grabbed his dagger tightly and narrowed his eyes.

Although he was stunned by the short but same time fierce clash of those two colossal, he didn't just watch around idly, enjoying the show presented in front of him with a wide open jaw. No, instead he made sure to evaluate the strength of the two while also discerning what their weakness and strength were.

And while it was true that the fight only lasted for less than 30 seconds, Raven was able to learn a lot of things.

First of all, he learned that while the bastard looked massive, it, in truth, possessed the Strength of a Rank 10, perhaps Rank 12 but not above that.

As for its Speed, it was ridiculously low, somewhere between 30 and 50 points.

Secondly, it turns out that while the armor granted it a great amount of protection, its body was fragile. Just a single strike from the other bastard with the hammer, its right hand got broken, hanging down beside its fat body limply.

Raven guessed the bones inside it got broken the moment it defended against the hammer. Poor bastard...

Lastly, which was the most important, the fatty despite having a fair amount of points in its Speed Trait, with its even lower amount of Constitution it could not move fast at all.

Hell, it could only raise its hands and spin around fast, but as for running... Haha, that was out of the question.

However, even with all these things together, Raven knew it didn't mean the creature was weak. In fact, with its Rank 10 Strength alone it was enough to kill him with a single strike.

And for that reason, he knew he should not underestimate that thing.

'Luckily, it had been injured. I can kill it no problem.' Raven thought to himself and once the monstrosity turned its back to him he dashed forward.

With his 90 points of Speed and the 30 points of passive points his Title, The Blessed Prodigy granted him, he almost instantly traveled the 100 meters of distance.

[Rune Mark: True Heir's Resolve activated!]

[5 Random Avatar Traits will be increased +50!]

'Oh... I have completely forgotten about this one...' feeling as all of his Traits except for his Mystique jumped 5 Ranks in an instant, a wide grin formed on Raven's face, and decided to put his weapon away and clench his fingers into a tight fist instead.

This, obviously, confused every human who witnessed it. However, not even a second later they witnessed a sight they have never expected to see.

The very moment Raven appeared behind the colossal thing, which seemed to have already noticed him as it was already turning around with swinging its mace backward, he pulled his hand back, ready to throw out a punch just the way he had practiced it for weeks!

"Let's see what 150 points of Strength and a little over 180points of Speed can really do," Raven mumbled and grinned with excitement, and without holding back at all threw out a punch.

The fat bastard and all the humans only saw a white flash before the colossal titan exploded like an inflated balloon, its inside splattering everywhere, even covering Raven's snow-white suit in crimson red and pieces of shredded organs!

'My suit...' Raven felt like crying as this is not how he expected things to turn out.

Or to be more specific, this was exactly how he expected the creature to die, but he didn't expect its insides to splatter on him also.

[Congratulations! You have slain Rank 11 Flesh Eater!]

[Your Vitality has gained +2 points!]

'Hmm... So it seems every creature grants me 1 point but when I have my Blessed Prodigy active I gain 2? Interesting.'

Unfortunately, when he fought against those Stinger Wolves, he needed to use his Beast Slayer Title to finish the fight as soon as possible to avoid any unnecessary crisis.

'Well... Whatever.' Raven sighed with a casual shrug and directed his gaze at the pillar of black light in the distance before he began to walk toward it.

On his way, he crossed paths with all kinds of abominations. There were creatures representing rats with rotten flesh and skins, centipedes as long as smaller trains, cockroaches the size of cars, mutated humanoid monsters wearing weapons and armors, and many more.

All kinds of monstrosities walked the streets of the city, each looking more terrifying than the other one and possessing the strength to easily crush any humans if happened to get onto Earth!

However, as Raven took his time to observe each of them, making sure not to rush into his demise accidentally, none of them posed a threat to him. In fact, each of them was between Rank 8 and Rank 12, and none of them were stronger than that.

The only creature that gave him a little headache was a monster with an appearance of a large mantis, that not only was capable of flight but was also incredibly fast and had scythes as sharp as razors!

Luckily, with the passive blessing of his Rune Mark and Title, alongside his weapon's toxic effects, with smaller injuries and cuts on his chest and arms, he was able to gain victory.

Of course, he could have avoided wounds and scars with ease if he would have used his Monarch's Crown or the Restriction Halo, but as he didn't wish to use his aces so soon he decided not to.

After all, this way besides Trait points he can also gain experience and also hone his fighting skills so it was not for nothing.

About four hours have passed since he started to cross the city, yet, even after such a long time Raven was nowhere near getting close to the beam of light.

Hell, it looked as if he didn't even walk a single meter! It was annoying as hell!

Pulling his dagger out of a corpse that seemed to belong to a Mutated Dweller, which in fact was a large snake capable of spitting large amounts of acid, Raven sighed and shook his head.

'I can't go on like this.' thinking to himself, Raven glanced at the black sun in the sky and sighed once again, 'While I don't need food, as I have eaten a lot before coming here, I need to find water. However...'

However, as far as he could see it, there was not even a single area where he could extinguish his thirst as everything was seemingly infected by this green slimy substance.

He even found a small fountain, but while it was filled with water it also had a greenish color so Raven decided it was better not to drink from it.

While pondering from where he could find water, suddenly Raven caught the shadow of someone from the corner of his eye, quickly urging him to shift his position and raise his weapon.

'Monster!'

Raven raised his guard in a flash and was ready to dash forward, when suddenly his body froze and his eyes widened.
