Chapter 330: Happy Birthday

"I'll leave it to you, Grisha."

"We'll have to set up one more beacon and we'll be done with this region." A man in his early thirties sighed in relief, cracking his sore muscles as he complained, "Why do we have to put up with this useless work? We can just destroy our opponent."

"Well, if you can defeat Straxia, we'll all follow your command." A woman nearby commented, watching him snort in response as she took out a syringe-like instrument, "Anyway, let's talk less and finish our task."

She then glared at an old man that was floating in the air casually, using a massive leaf as a bed to sleep upon, basking in the sun. No mutated beast dared to approach him, even the mosquitoes. A glare from him, and they buzzed away.

"Sweetheart, don't glare at me so much. These pair of old bones cannot do much anyway." The old man smiled gently.

'This old coot.' She gritted her teeth, not pressing forth, for she knew how strong the old man was. He wasn't actually old and was just in his teen, exactly sixteen years old. He was at that age where his eighth-grader syndrome was flaring up.

And to act as a wisecrack, he had modified his appearance, role-playing as an old man.

"Still…you must at least do something. If not, Straxia will…" The woman talked when suddenly, her back was filled with sweat as her danger sense flared up the summit. Time seemed to slow down around her as her senses were heightened to the extreme.

Her eyes widened in surprise as she was about to react, suddenly noticing a bullet appear before her forehead. Rectangular in shape, thin like a file, containing a suffocating aura as it gently touched her forehead, sinking in.

Srrak!

It felt like her body was electrocuted as she tried to shout, but was unable to let out anything. Everything happened so fast as her body was immobile. She was in the process of falling when the woman noticed the figure of a lady appear before her, eyes cold, wearing a yellowish-white suit of armour that seemed to have been made using insect wings.

The woman's eyes shot to the side, intending to ask the old man for help, for he was the strongest among the three, widening in shock upon seeing him clutching his body in pain, paralysed the same as her.

The bullets consisted of not only the laws of Earth but also Dota's power, the punishment a System/System Host faced upon leaking details regarding a System, typically called the System Punishment.

Only three bullets were used, one per each, causing all three System Hosts to be incapacitated.

Grisha extended her hand, using Mecha as she condensed an energy blade hand, grabbing hold of all three System Hosts.

Right at this time, using her as the destination, Compass Carburettor condensed a portal, appearing as he sent her into his Dimensional Space. And in her place, he grabbed hold of the three System Hosts using an energy blade hand.

Appearing within the Dimensional Space, Grisha did as practiced, not even wasting a moment as she condensed a portal to a certain location and entered it, appearing within a massive sphere.

They coordinated with short grunts through telepathy as immediately after that, using her as the destination, Compass Carburettor condensed a portal and appeared, dragging the three System Hosts with him.

This entire sequence of actions took less than two seconds as Compass Carburettor sent Grisha into the Dimensional Space before dropping the three System Hosts, "Happy birthday!"

The eyes of the three System Hosts widened in shock, observing their surroundings. They were unable to free themselves in this short time as their Systems too were paralysed. And their surroundings…were horrifying.

It was shaped like a honeybee nest, with the inside hollow. The entire structure resembled a sphere with around 60,000 hexagon-shaped holes. And, situated within each hole was a three-horned ant, glaring at the three people that had arrived.

And the moment they arrived, Compass Carburettor gave the signal before vanishing from the Reality Marble as all the three-horned ants used the entirety of their strength to unleash a breath attack each.

The burst element formed a tide of concentrated attacks that slammed into the centre of the hollow sphere where the three System Hosts were, devastating their bodies.

Immediately after unleashing the entirety of their power through their breath attacks, all the ants committed suicide, using the power of the Reality Marble to instantly revive at their respective locations as before, unleashing a second volley of breath attacks.

And in this short duration between the breath attacks, Compass Carburettor appeared before their near-death bodies, plundering their Mental Energy reserves using their weakened states. Thanks to the support from Coincidental Luck, he was able to plunder all their Mental Energy in a single try.

It was also because Golda and Dita had five horns now, so their ability was leagues above the previous attacks used against Jionerd and Zach.

Moreover, to ensure the three System Hosts didn't try anything, he slammed the System Punishment on them, causing them to wriggle in pain as their Systems too suffered damage.

Right as he vanished, the second round of breath attacks appeared, obliterating them into smithereens.

Taking out Anthozoa, Compass Carburettor sucked them in, fusing their bodies with a bullet each, shouting, 'Grisha!'

"Hahaha! Finally, Chenger's despair has reached hundred percent." Shyvern roared in laughter, "I can destroy Rhizen on my own now."

'System, activate the Connection of Love!' He laughed as his System—Villain Maker—did so immediately, extracting all the despair that Chenger was feeling to consolidate it into a two-headed centipede, ethereal in nature that floated in the air.

The Villain Maker System wasn't a battle-oriented System but was adept at pulling strings from behind the scenes.

Shyvern flailed his hands as the two-headed centipede gushed into Chenger's body, causing her to flail in agony as her emotions were twisted, causing her feelings of love towards Rhizen to turn into unquenchable hatred. The effect was to such an extent that her body began to morph, turning into a monster.

"Rhizen…and that fake bitch, I'll kill them both!"
