Spanning a size of two metres, it was one huge entity, something they had fought quite a few times but didn't manage to defeat. For some reason, Rhizen was fixated on killing it. Though, the fact that the frog had already swallowed two people from the settlement was also a cause for concern.

At present, it had been staring at the sky blankly, thinking of something when its senses rang out. It leaped from its spot, hearing a thunderous rumble as a sphere of force slammed into the ground, forming a crater in the rocky surface.

The frog was alert, already used to such attacks as it didn't even bat an eye, calmly landing on the ground as it swerved its head, gazing at the winged creature—Druvus and Caithaleya—in the sky.

It then noticed some minor fluctuations in the air, making another leap as it sensed two force fields shaped as arrows trailing after it.

With a start, it opened its mouth, spitting out some mucus that slammed into the pair of arrows, destroying them.

Right at this time, Rhizen swallowed three pearls as he summoned his scorpion tail, smiling as the stinger faced the frog before beginning to unleash a barrage of needles.

His second mutated beast was a porcupine, one that was a gimmick that could be attached to other items. So, he attached it to his scorpion tail, allowing needles to be launched from the stinger. And thanks to its poison, the needles were deadly.

Forming an almost straight line, the group of needles slammed into the thigh of the frog, causing it to feel sluggish immediately. The poison in the needles tried to destroy it while its own poison counterattacked his poison.

As the two competed against one another, Rhizen increased the distance, watching the frog's tongue slam into a nearby rock, lightly melting it. Without any hesitation, he slammed another batch of needles into the frog, causing most of them to hit home even after it had dodged the attack.

Croak!

The frog unleashed a loud sound when the attack from Druvus, a cannonball condensed from the burst element, slammed into its side when it was distracted by Rhizen's and Caithaleya's attacks.

"Good job," Holding a bow in her hands, Caithaleya smirked, condensing an arrow of the burst element as she launched it.

Swallowing a couple more pearls, Rhizen emptied all the needles onto the frog, alarmed when it suddenly gazed at the skies, opening its mouth to unleash its breath attack.

"Dodge!" Rhizen shouted in alarm.

"Hap!" Druvus grunted as his wings unleashed the burst element, causing him to fly through the air, accelerating to the peak instantly as he flew away for a couple hundred metres, evading the breath attack.

Moreover, right at this time, a hail of arrows curved through the air and slammed into the frog's open mouth, taking advantage of its attack.

Even though it had ambushed, the frog had wasted its breath attack, only managing to make Druvus retreat a little.

Upon seeing that it had already wasted its most important attack, Rhizen continued to slam the needles into it, causing the poison to accumulate in its body.

The side attacked by Druvus was bleeding now, showing no signs of stopping. Arrows continued to slam into its body, slowly chipping away at it.

Right when Druvus launched another attack at it using his hand-canon, the frog leaped into the air before the burst element was ejected from its legs, allowing it to propel itself towards the duo in the air.

"Hmph!" Caithaleya snorted, swallowing two pearls as she condensed one arrow from all the resultant energy, slamming it into the frog, piercing through its neck, preventing it from opening its mouth that easily.

As for Druvus, he swallowed two pearls, unleashing two spheres of burst element, his limit. The two sphered slammed into the frog, the momentum deactivating its ability before sending it crashing into the ground.

Croak!

The frog croaked in pain when it noticed the figure of Rhizen standing nearby, his scorpion tail piercing its neck.

The poison within it was really potent as the frog felt its body beginning to melt while it lost all sensations of touch. A minute later, the frog died as Rhizen sighed in relief, using the stinger from the scorpion tail to sever its body, suddenly sensing his body brimming with power.

Moreover, for a second, his mind blanked, experiencing a scene where his two mutated beasts fought against him and had devoured him, causing him to break out in cold sweat in reality. But, it also made him realise something. He had broken through to the next level during the fight…

Stage 3!

Gathering his bearings, Rhizen scoured through the frog's carcass, smiling when he obtained an orb and two pearls. The frog was a two-horned mutated beast, so it was pretty strong.

He swallowed the orb and both the pearls, feeling something mystical explode from within as it brought him severe exhaustion, prompting him to swallow another pearl.

It took him a good minute to digest all gains, smirking as he swallowed two pearls, summoning his frog, causing it to devour the carcass of the frog that they had killed, "Well, it is cannibalism. Or maybe not since it is its own body."

The frog was a two-horned mutated beast, so after some time in comprehension, Rhizen beckoned for the attention of the other two, saying to Druvus, "Caithaleya would remain in the same spot while you'll carry me on the front. My new ability allows me to move through the air at alarming speeds.

Once everyone took their respective positions, Druvus activated the ability of his wings, taking off into the air as their speed of flight rapidly accelerated. It was then that Rhizen smiled, activating the ability he obtained from the frog.

Immediately, as if he had installed rocket boosters into his pair of boots, they unleashed a force field, propelling them even faster, allowing them to make a large arc in the sky, travelling quickly.

"I'll be there under less than thirty minutes, Chenger," Rhizen muttered.
