Maybe Raymond was sleepy. He fell asleep in just a few minutes.

Scarlet was trying to pull out her hand, which was held in Raymond's hand. However, he held it tighter than before when she moved slightly.

Raymond behaved himself when he was sleeping. He said he would just hold her hand. He meant what he said.

Scarlet looked down at his face and his closed eyes. She found while he slept, he was not aloof and looked much more approachable.

A gust of cold wind sprang up, lifting his collar.

Scarlet raised her hand and put the light blanket over him.

She went to bed early last night and didn't want to take a nap now. However, Raymond held her hand and she could only stay there to accompany him.

After sitting for a while, she was getting drowsy.

However, the loud rings of the doorbell woke her up before she fell asleep.

Scarlet frowned and looked at Raymond, who had just opened his eyes and stared at her.

Alexis went in quickly, followed by Scarlet, who then closed the door.

When Scarlet went upstairs, she saw Raymond standing in the aisle and Alexis gawking at him.

Seeing Scarlet, Alexis recovered and said, "Scarlet, what’s going on with you two?" "Drink swater first, and then I'll quibble." Finishing speaking, Scarlet felt a little embarrassed but she didn't let it show. She said calmly, "Not quibble, explain.” Alexis grunted and wanted to say something. But on looking at Raymond she withheld her words. And then she asked, "Just explain.” Raymond wiped the smile off, looking aloof. He gave Scarlet a look and said, "I'll go back to the company.” Scarlet wished he could get out of there fast enough. She said, "Hum." Considering Alexis was there, Raymond only nodded and then went downstairs with the tie and the coat in hand.

Very soon, the sound of the car engine cfrom downstairs.

Raymond went away.

Alexis pulled Scarlet to her and asked, "You and he get back together?" Scarlet put the cup in front of her and said, "If | say no, would you believe me?" Alexis grunted coldly, "Lettie, do you think I'm stupid? | wasn't born yesterday! How could | believe that?" Scarlet set her mouth in a line. "That's not where you are. | mean in terms of your intelligence, you are likely to believe that." Alexis was lost for words. After drinking swater, she reacted suddenly. "Don't change the subject! Do you get back together?" Scarlet never wanted to hide it from her. She sat back up on the couch and smiled. "Yes and no." "What does 'yes and no' mean? Yes means yes, and no means no. He was even in your house. How could you tellyes and no?" Scarlet was awkward and said, "I told him | would try t o get back with him.” "What is the difference? Raymond, the son of a bitch, i s going to take you away fromagain. | am so angry now!" Alexis drank a large glass of water and said, "Giveanother cup of water!" After drinking a half cup of water, she calmed down a little. "Are all of his assets under your name?"
