At first, Kirk thought Caroline had forgiven him, but soon he realized that her smile wasn’t sincere. He had seen her

genuine smiles, so he could immediately tell whether she was really happy or faking it.

Avery felt sick after hearing his words. She glanced at the bank card on the table and said, ” Anyway, I’ve given you
