Stunned, Mary could not help but look at Rachel inquisitively.

When she met Rachel’s cold gaze, she immediately figured out who she was talking about. Mary said

Just as she put it through, David’s deep, cold voice rang out. “Do you need my help?”

“No need,” Rachel said.
